Motor Meals
For our Social Issues Campaign we chose to tackle the topic of food insecurity. Through our research we found that food banks in Canada are largely under-utilized. Primarily because Canadians feel too ashamed or embarrassed to access them. This discovery, paired with others, led us to our project’s three guiding questions: How can we break out of the traditional food bank environment? How can we position ourselves to be accessible to everyone? How can we build off school meal programs? Introducing Motor Meals! A service that partners with Food Banks Canada to prepare and bring meals directly to youth and young adults in BC. One truck, hundreds of meals created by your community, for your community.

Process Work
We chose to create a poster, that doubled as an infographic brochure, to both inform our audience and provide a whimsical keepsake. When taken home, this brochure can act as an art piece on your fridge, while easily providing information on the flip side on how to access Motor Meals' events.
All our collateral utilizes the same soft, easygoing color pallet, hoping to bring a sense of comfort and relaxation to those around. We used illustration instead of photography to render a more homey feel. As through our research we observed similar causes with photography tended to come off as cold and corporate.
